becomes a STOP

as time disperses
she sits and smokes
as gardens grow
around her
he mud man makes
earth flowers which she takes
as proof there is ground
zero
indigenous displaced
across borders, birds
nest in foreign tongues
age of metal passed
as behomeths dinosaur battle
car smashes
EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!
lights alarm
when what we really want-
EMERGENCE!
small enough to be invisible
that is how she grows best
expelled from the Garden
set up a Nursery
snake of wisdom
DNA replicated
trademarked
incorporated
all these nights in a bubble!
pure dream air
escaping!
we recognize
what we have lost
after it escapes us
escape!(sold as a holiday
who makes jails?
mind forged passports
stamped out borders
night crossings
there is a way
there is a way in
there is always a way around
and a way out
You have a way
of avoiding
the perfectly obvious
date stamped daze
uncertain sunlight
hesitates
