WILDE FLOWERS RISING!
Thursday, May 1st, 2008You plant ideas in winter-
when the cool chill of contemplation
keeps them glowing in you
Wrapped up in blankets
you slip within the soil
and wait. Spring’s flowered clock ticks forward.
Insurrectionist towers of liquid light
nod in a gentle green air. There are miniature cities
of grace and fluidities, leaning every which where.
These are your songs-your talking, walking children
They wear the mask of flowers
but they are feral, seeking company
They glow golden sunlight’s filtered flavors
into a pot-pourri of aromas. Bees know. Butterflies too.
They alight, hitch hikers, in temporary happiness
that you have made yourself a garden new and renewed
You have planted seeds of feelings among us
Now they bloom! The richness of your harvest sings them in
And this garden will never be the same again!
